End Of The Book Summary: Despereaux meets this sad and beautiful princess. The princess asks Despereaux if he's a rat or a mouse and he says that he's a brave mouse. When Despereaux heads back home he tells Furlough how the princess looked and how she hold him with her soft and warm hands. After, Furlough gets cowered and hides in Despereaux's room. Lester the dad of Despereaux has heard all the things that Despereaux was saying to Furlough. Lester demands Furlough to go to his study and they talked about Despereaux speaking to a human being and that he's been reading a book about princess and knights. When Despereaux was caught going back through the mousewhole and reading the book, the Mouse Council asks him "How long have you been working on this book" and he said a week. He was supposed to be eating the pages of the book, but he wanted to finish the book to see how it ends. Then the Mouse Council tells Despereaux that he is banished from the walls forever and he is sent to the Dungeons of Dor, "which no mouse and no light has ever escaped". Roscuro went to apologize to the princess because of what he has caused to the queens death. So when she saw Roscuro she screamed really loud and they kept chasing him. He got mad and he found Miggery Sow, she had most of Princess Pea's stuff and even her picture frame. Miggery Sow and Roscuro both had a plan to kidnapp the Princess. Then, Despereaux heard the princess yelling for help and he saw her wrapped/coiled in rope. She gave her golden heart locket of necklace to Despereaux so he could warn her father that she is kidnapped and that she is in the dungeon, which she needs help. Her father was sitting in the chair with his guitar playing a sad tune meanwhile Despereaux was trying to tell him where his daughter was he couldn't hear a word Despereaux was saying because he was speaking while he was playing his giutar. After, he noticed that he couldn't help him so he went back to the mouse world to get some help and he was covered in white powder which it made him look dead. He asked his father for help, but he kept saying yyyour supposed to bbe ddeead! So he fainted afterwards. No one seemed to help him because people thought that he was dead and that he was a spirit from the dungeon. So he was the only one to save Princess Pea, so he fought for her and she was finally rescued by Despereaux and Roscuro. The Book had a happy ending. THE END!!!!
The major conflicts were when Princess Pea was getting kidnapped into the darkest dungeon. This was resolved because Despereaux ended up saving the Princess with no help. I thought that 1) Despereaux was going to be afraid of one thing, 2) Roscuro was going to be honest and brave, 3) Miggery Sow was going to be nice and not mean in causing a big crime. I thought of these charcters like all differently because they each had different personalities. I don't think that there were any worst parts in the novel. The whole novel was very interesting. Despereaux was my favorite character because he was the bravest mouse in the novel and he was also the cutest mouse out of the other characters. The princess was the antagonist of the novel and she yelled for help, Despereaux helped her get out of the dungeon. Her motivation was that she was patient and also scared.
